Here is my lunch for today:
It was good, but not exactly authentic Pad Thai. It had a few shrimp on top and some cooked eggs, a sprinkling of peanuts and it was all tossed in an extremely vague tomato-based sauce with a few spices. Not so great.....It was mostly broad noodles which were tossed inthe same sauce, but dryly.
the tea, on the other hand, was FANTASTIC!! Wegmans has started selling this brand of tea from Japan. I like my tea unsweetened and strong, and this was both. It is green tea, which is sort of hit or miss for me.
I felted the beret I made last week and sewed in one of my new labels.
I finally ordered some new ones. I don't usually sew these in because it seems like a vain thing to do, but I always regret it after the fact.

I come to your blog and what I find is food that is taunting me and reminding me that I have nothing for dinner and that I am too lazy too cook and too tired to order in. ;-)OMG!! That chicken curry looks FANTASTIC!!!!!
Your beret is gorgeous. You are multi-talented!
thanks! I cook, I knit, but I cannot do the NYTimes crossword puzzle LOL
I have twice completed the Monday NY Times crossword puzzle and the LA Times almost any day. But, no, I cannot knit and rarely cook. I guess we all have our talents and abilities. Your talent for curry I would trade for my limited crossword puzzle abilities.
Oh YES!!! This looks fantastic!! And the Pad Thai makes me wish we'd made it to that restaurant...Ah well!!
PS--Wegmans is one of the things I miss most about NY...There really is NOTHING that compares here.
I'm not a fan of Wegman's idea of asian foods. I've always been a bit disappointed.
