Finally got a chance to sit down and write a bit.... I got home Wednesday afternoon, and have been doing a bit of everything since then. We had a wonderful time visiting family in MA.I keep thinking about knitting this Michael Kors vest-tunic-thingy. I think maybe with 3/4 sleeves.....

They are due to hit stores(Macy's?) in September. Lately, I have been reading a book about Frida Kahlo, the mexican artist from the 20's and 30's. For some reason I'm drawn to art ofthis period. I love impressionism and modern stuff. I think that maybe it's because the lives of these artists were as colorful as their work. That whole thing with Dali and his wife, Gala. He called her his beautiful twin and what a bitch she was! The ultimate muse, I guess....
It's pouring here today. My poor garden. while I was away the rabbits ate all my parsley and all the mesclun that was coming up. I'm going to try and fence in the garden to avoid total destruction. Hasenpfeffer! :( (cute but deadly)
